Quilt Coat Harvest Wheat
Quilt Coat Harvest Wheat
These Quilt Coats are a special mini collection celebrating vintage textiles and the crafters who came before. Each of these blankets was damaged and out of use. But quilts love to be useful! Can you imaging putting the hours and weeks of work into making a quilt and it ends up in a landfill? This collection puts them back where they love to be: admired and keeping you warm and snuggly. The quilts have been over-dyed and repaired but are still in very vintage condition showing the beautiful history they have already lived. They look incredible with our signature spent flora silk gowns.
Our jacket design follows spent flora principles: one size, flattering on many bodies, super low waste. This jacket is lined with my hand dyed silk. This quilt was signed by the maker and dated 1980.
Silk dyed with low impact fiber reactive dye.
Size: One size, this is a roomy design that looks beautiful on a variety of bodies. pit-to-pit is 30 inches, 41 inch length from base of neck to hem.
Care: these vintage textiles are more delicate than our sturdy silk. Machine wash delicate cycle, lay flat to dry.
Sewn and dyed in California, with love.
